Freedom Academy is more than a performing arts school — it’s a place where children grow in confidence, discover who they are and experience the excitement of performing.
We offer high-quality training in dance, singing and acting for children aged 3–18 in Dulwich and Caterham.
Our classes are designed to build confidence, nurture creativity and provide real opportunities to perform in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Founded and led by Kat Henry, Freedom Academy is built on a clear vision — to create confident, well-rounded performers in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Kat trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and has worked professionally within the industry. She now oversees every aspect of the academy, working closely with tutors to ensure every class reflects the same high standard, energy and care.
Freedom Academy was created to be more than just a class — a space where children feel safe, included and free to be themselves, while being supported and challenged to grow.
Our mission is to create a space where children feel confident, included and empowered, while being given meaningful opportunities to grow within the performing arts.
We are committed to delivering high-quality performing arts training to all children, and believe every child has the ability to achieve and succeed in their own way.
At Freedom Academy, we don’t just teach performing arts — we create opportunities for children to perform, grow and shine.
