Holiday Camps

 Our camps are designed for different age groups depending on the programme.

• Half-day camps: Ages 3–5
• Full-day musical theatre camps: Ages 5–14
• Summer Production Camp: Ages 5–16
• Teen workshops: Occasionally available for ages 14+

 Not at all. Our camps are designed to be fun, welcoming and suitable for all abilities.

Whether your child is new to performing arts or already loves singing, dancing and acting, our tutors will ensure they feel confident and included.

Holiday camps are often a great introduction to Freedom Academy classes.

No. Our holiday camps are open to everyone, whether your child currently attends Freedom Academy classes or is joining us for the first time 

Full-day camps typically run 9:00am – 3:30pm.
Half-day camps for younger children run shorter morning sessions.

Children should bring:

• Packed lunch
• Water bottle
• Comfortable clothing and trainers suitable for dancing and movement

Costumes may sometimes be used for themed camps but are not required.

Yes.

Our holiday day camps finish with a mini showcase for parents at the end of the day.

Our Summer Production Camp finishes with a full musical theatre performance for family and friends.

Yes. All Freedom tutors are DBS-checked, safeguard trained, experienced performing arts professionals. Safeguarding is always a priority. 

Yes. Qualified first aiders are present at every Freedom camp to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.  

Yes. We offer 10% off all camps and classes for additional siblings.

The discount is automatically applied when booking multiple children through our booking system.

No. Freedom Academy is a performing arts training academy and is not Ofsted registered, so childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare cannot be used for our camps. 

Arrival & Warm Up - Drama games and warm-ups.

Singing & Dance Workshops - Children learn songs and choreography.

Acting & Character Work - Fun scene work and storytelling.

LUNCH

Rehearsal Time - Preparing for the showcase.

End of Day Performance - Parents are invited to watch.

For production camp the week ends with a full theatre performance.
