Private Tuition
Singing & LAMDA Lessons
Our private tuition for acting and singing is designed for children aged 5 years and older. These sessions can be tailored for individual 1:1 lessons, 2:1 sessions, or small groups with siblings or friends, accommodating up to 6 children.
During these LAMDA tuition sessions, children can prepare for LAMDA Examinations in acting, verse and prose, public speaking, mime, or musical theatre singing lessons.
Private lessons offer a great opportunity for children who prefer focused instruction, whether individually or in smaller groups, and they can also complement our group classes for those looking to enhance their skills further.
Our private sessions are available during term times on Saturdays at both our Dulwich and Caterham Schools.
Additionally, we provide ad hoc tuition for students preparing for upcoming auditions.
Our Coaches
All our coaches have trained as professional musicians, actors, or tutors and are active in many different areas of music-making and the performing arts industry, including LAMDA tuition and private tuition. Our teachers offer specialized singing lessons to enhance your skills.
All our teachers are DBS checked and follow the Freedom Academy of Performing Arts safeguarding policy.
How does LAMDA tuition work?
All private tuition lessons take place at our venues and are booked for a fixed time on Fridays or Saturdays (depending on availability), for the term in advance (10 - 12 weeks).
This continues until you give us notice to stop or change your lesson time/day. Notice is required at least one month before the end of the term to stop at the end of the term or change your time from the start of the next term.
Children work on the technique of each subject in our singing lessons, and we can also prepare them for exams if they wish.
Our Fees:
Solo lessons: £20 for 30 mins / £40 for 1 hour
Group lessons for 2: £12* for 30 mins / £24* for 1 hr
Group lessons for 3 to 6: £9* for 30 mins / £15* for 1 hr
